3rd Great Balls of Steel had no representative present

We are now one week into the second half of the season and the tables are looking very interesting indeed.
L'homard stay top on 10 points and then we find 5 teams all on six points with Boulebarians jumping into second place and Great Balls dropping to third.
Carey Boulesen hold on to first place but are joined on 10 points by Les Miseraboules. Purple Pinkies climb to third with Pete Tanque and Biff Bash Boules only 2 points behind.
The Usual Suspects and and Equiom Tab Boulers are first and second and both have 6 points, while the remaining 5 teams are all on 4 points with Petazteque just taking third place.
One more scheduled week plus a catch up week before the Christmas break so lets they and get back on track with any outstanding games and hopefully the weather will not be too disruptive.
The Final Table and Results for the Winter League 2016-17
The Parish of St Helier Winter League presentations were made today. L'Homard Qui Rit were Division 1 champions (Pic 1: Ross Payne; JPA chairman Andy Limbrick and team captain, David Ibitson) Top of Division 2 were Boulebarians (Pic 2: David Porter, Darren Boschat, Bruce Horwood and Craig Kelly) and Division 3 champions were newcomers, Les Miseraboules (Pic 3 Wendy and Mike Ritzema)

Here are the final summer league positions
L’Homard Qui Rit – Champions
Great Balls of Steel – Second Place
Kerplunk - Third Place
L’Homard are crowned Summer Champions for the fifth time.
Great Balls of Steel are still looking for their first title as they settle for runners up for the second season running.
Kerplunk climbed to third position, unable to repeat their table topping performance of last season.
Stone the Throws threatened but slipped up towards the end of the season to finish fourth. Boulebarians dropped one place to fifth and Luce Men and Women couldn’t mount a challenge following their promotion last year, finishing in sixth place.
LGL Tossers - Champions
Equiom Boules-hitters - Second Place
RBC Boule-Fighters – Third Place
LGL Tossers rose to the top in the final 4 weeks and held on to be Champions of division 2.
Equiom Boules-hitters faded just at the end but secure promotion in second place.
RBC Boule-Fighters climbed into a medal position taking third place in the final week.
Lloyds Lions just miss out on a podium position in fourth place with Les Escargots, in fifth place, just holding off Petazteque in sixth.
Complete Petanque Amateurs – Champions
Pete Tanque – Second Place
Carey Boulesen - Third Place
Complete Petanque Amateurs take top place and regain promotion to the second division.
Pete Tanque by finishing second also reclaim the second division place they relinquished last season.
Carey Boulesen take the bronze medal finishing third.
I’m Alright Jacques finish fourth, Saints and Sinners fifth, Biff Bash Boules sixth and A Load of Boules seventh.

All Stars – Second Place
The Incrediboules - Third Place
The Usual Suspects took over the top spot 6 weeks ago and were never caught as they finish champions in division 4 and return to division three next season.
All Stars came back into the league and finished second to win automatic promotion.
The Incrediboules finished a credible third in their first season and will receive a plaque to commemorate the occasion
Cazenove Cochonnets, Purple Pinkies, Valla Vikings and Boule-Dozers came in positions four, five, six and seven respectively.
