In the Ladies event  Wendy Ritzema, Judy Dove and Joy Hart won their 3 games with a score of plus 18, compared to the runners-up, Jean and Cassie Stewart plus Dawn Buckley, who also won three games but with a score of plus 10.

As there were an uneven amount of teams in both the mens and women entrants, rather than have teams sitting out for one round each time - the men took on the women for a special prize of wine which was awarded to the men's team of Bob Morel, Ross Payne and James Gennoe.  

JPA Triples report 2018
Mark Nicol, Matt Pinel and Matt Buesnel won the JPA Men’s Triples in convincing style. Playing their first competitive match of the season, the trio who have been selected to represent Jersey in the World Triples event later this year, strolled through the qualifying round winning all their matches in Group A.

In second place were Mat Scholefield, Alan Lahiffe and Steve Leathem. Group B was much fiercely contested with Neil Selby, Michel Morel and Keith Boleat topping the table.

They were joined in the semi-finals by Ross Payne, Bob Morel and James Gennoe.

The winners of Group A  beat the runners-up in Group B 13-6 in the first semi-final while the winners of Group B went rhrough to the final after a 13-10 victory.

In the final the Nicol, Pinel and Buesnel won 13-3 while the Lethalimbs trio of Scholefield, Lahiffe and Leathem  won the 3rd place play-off, 13-4.
